Roc the Ride is a campaign to bring attention to Roc Solid’s mission to build hope for kids with cancer. It is held each September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
In its second year, Roc the Ride 2017 included 12 cyclists traveling 270 miles from Washington, D.C. to Richmond and then Norfolk over the course of three days. On the last leg of their journey, the riders were joined by dozens of Roc Solid kids and families as they crossed the finish line at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
The campaign has raised over $100,000 to build hope for kids and families facing pediatric cancer.
