Roc the Ride is a campaign to bring attention to Roc Solid’s mission during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (September).
Roc the Ride 2017 (Sept. 12 – 15) includes 12 cyclists traveling from Washington, D.C. to Richmond and then Norfolk, visiting staff and families at the children’s hospitals in each city – Children’s National, the Children’s Hospital of Richmond and the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. For the last leg of their 270-mile journey, the riders will be joined by Roc Solid kids and families.
Each rider has been tasked to raise $5,000, all of which will go toward Roc Solid’s programs that build hope for families facing pediatric cancer. For more information or to make a donation, visit the Roc the Ride Crowdrise page.
