Play It Forward

Roc Solid’s flagship program, Play It Forward, has constructed dozens of custom playsets for children battling cancer throughout the country. During each project, the children and their families are taken out by limo for the morning, and when they return home, they are surprised with brand new wooden playsets in their backyards. While the concept is simple, its impact is far-reaching and immensely rewarding.

These children often face intense cancer treatments, leaving them with little energy to enjoy life as every child should. Their new playsets not only allow them to be carefree for the day, but they also act as a tangible token of encouragement from friends, family and the community. It reminds them that better days lie ahead, and their support system will be there with them every step of the way. For Play It Forward sponsors and volunteers, the excitement and happiness seen on the children’s faces create memories that last a lifetime.
