Our Mission

The ROC SOLID FOUNDATION was built on the philosophy that through positive action and community cooperation, we can encourage hope for those facing even the most dire of circumstances and help them cope with the difficult reality of living with childhood cancer.

The organization's reach has now grown from its beginnings in Southeastern Virginia to all across the Mid-Atlantic, determined to impact the lives of children and their families throughout the United States.

Play It Forward, our flagship program, builds custom playsets for pediatric cancer patients, fostering a child's ability to have fun despite their condition. This and all of Roc Solid's programs are built on the understanding that often: A SMILE IS THE BEST MEDICINE.
