Ashley Martin

Director of Marketing

Ashley officially joined the Roc Solid team as Director of Communications in 2017 after managing the organization’s brand and marketing efforts as a volunteer for nearly seven years. She oversees all communication to volunteers, sponsors, donors and the public, including the What Hope Looks Like podcast. She’s also Eric’s go-to for implementing “big ideas,” of which there are many.

Ashley graduated from the University of Central Florida (#goknightsgo) with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. For 10 years, she was senior account manager for Hampton Roads’ premier PR firm. She never planned to work in the nonprofit sector, but when this opportunity presented itself, she couldn’t say no.

Ashley is extremely passionate about Roc Solid’s mission and maintaining its brand as the organization grows. She thinks of herself as being organized, and her habit of writing everything down in long to-do lists overwhelms her colleagues… but they never have to worry something will fall through the cracks.
