“My favorite memory happened this year. In July, I helped build three playhouses at the Roc Solid Warehouse. Later in September, I helped build a playset for one of the families who received one of those playhouses.
When we arrived, I found the playhouse we had built months before—complete with my signature. Meeting the family and kiddo who received it was a full-circle moment. It showed me the direct impact Roc Solid makes.”

“One of the older sisters we met in Georgia shared a birthday with Hailey Fary, a Roc Solid Build Leader, and me (November 22). When we left, she said she would remember me forever and think about me every birthday. As an older sister myself, her words touched my heart—I can’t imagine what she’s going through seeing her little sister in pain.
She hugged me so tight and asked her mom if we could stay longer. That family has no idea the impact they made on me. I can’t wait to do it again.”

“Playset reveals have to be my favorite. Each one is unique because every child, family and situation is unique.
One build, as I read the plaque, the Mama Bear grabbed my hand. When I finished, she wrapped me in the tightest hug. The playset was more than a playset—it was love and support for her family, even from strangers.”

“My first build— for a kiddo named LJ—is something I’ll never forget. LJ has had to adapt in ways no child ever should. Being able to give him the gift of play in his own backyard was so special.
Hearing his story from his dad and feeling the appreciation from both parents will stick with me forever. I was able to create just a little sense of normalcy for a family whose world was turned upside down.”
