National Coffee Day with Dunkin’: A Partnership with Roc Solid
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the world shifts in an instant. Hospital rooms become home. Routines are replaced with treatments. And families face moments of deep uncertainty that often leave them feeling isolated and overwhelmed.
That’s where Roc Solid Foundation’s hospital Ready Bags come in.
Each Ready Bag is carefully packed to meet families in those early days of diagnosis, filled with practical items, comforting touches and, thanks to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, even moments of joy.
Through their generous support, Roc Solid was able to distribute fully grant-funded tablets in over 900 hospital Ready Bags during the first half of 2025. Just like a morning cup of coffee fuels your day, these tablets fueled moments of connection. They allowed kids to watch their favorite shows, video chat with loved ones, play games or simply find a distraction from treatment. More than entertainment, the technology created a sense of normalcy—sparking smiles and reminding families that joy matters, even in the hardest moments.
More than a Partner
The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation is built on a mission that beautifully aligns with ours: to provide the simple joys of childhood to kids battling hunger or illness. Since 2006, the foundation has granted millions of dollars to nonprofit organizations across the country and has become a beacon of hope for families navigating life’s most difficult chapters.
At Roc Solid Foundation, we believe that every child fighting cancer deserves to experience the joys of childhood. Through our partnership with Dunkin’, we were able to take that belief one step further. Together, we met them with connection, laughter and joy.
