Frequently Asked Questions

All Event Team members (you!) will enter through the Scope Exhibition Hall Entrance. 

Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday: You can park in the Scope Parking Garage and enter through the Exhibition Hall entrance. 

Friday: Please park in the Brambleton Ave parking lot, cross the Scope Plaza, follow the stairs down to the Scope Parking Garage and enter through the Exhibition Hall Entrance. 

There will be signs that say “Event Team Entrance” to guide you in the right direction. 

Yes, there will be a room designated for volunteers that will be fully stocked with food and drinks.

Closed toed shoes are required for safety. 

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes—you will be on your feet a lot. 

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your volunteer timeslot to allow for parking and to get checked in.

Wear comfortable shoes, bring any specific snacks or a refillable water bottle if you’d like. There will be a volunteer room stocked with food, snacks and drinks for you all day.

When you arrive, you’ll meet your Team Leader who will be your point of contact during the event. 

You can also look for anyone in a bright blue “Rally Team” shirt for help if you have a question. 

Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

All donations through Ready Bag Rally will go toward providing Ready Bags for families fighting pediatric cancer.

Yes! There will be an online store link with a volunteer discount code available for you in the volunteer room at the event. 

Ready Bag Rally is the day hope changes everything for families fighting pediatric cancer. We will be packing 16,000 Roc Solid Ready Bags—one for every family who will be diagnosed with pediatric cancer next year. 

Ready Bags are backpacks filled with overnight essentials, given to families on the day their child is diagnosed so that the family does not have to split up to pack an overnight bag one one of the worst days of their lives.

Roc Solid Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that builds hope for kids and their families fighting pediatric cancer. The organization is known for surprising kids with new backyard play structures and providing hospital Ready Bags to families at diagnosis. For more info, visit rocsolidfoundation.org.
