Kandi Deitemeyer

Kandi Deitemeyer has spent her 30+ year career in higher education. She currently serves as
president of Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. Throughout
her professional career she has led with purpose to impact and transform lives.

Kandi is a leader best described as engaging, collaborative, and energetic. She has an
unmatched passion for the student experience and has strategically focused Central Piedmont
on ensuring student success is at the heart of all that it undertakes.

Kandi brings her high-impact energy and engagement to many local, statewide, and national
efforts. Yet, it is her commitment to her faith and family that is most important to her.

Kandi enjoys spending time with her family, prefers the call of the mountains, and would hike
every day if she could. She would describe the best day as having just a few simple things:
quiet time, a cup (or 2) of great coffee, a few moments with hubby, and seeing joy in her
daughter’s eyes.

Kandi and her husband, Gary, and their daughter Zoe were personally impacted by the mission
of Roc Solid in 2011. Since that time, they have been avid supporters and champions of building
hope. It is safe to say, Kandi is a proud mama bear!

Todd Joyce

Todd Joyce is a Senior Vice President with Rodgers Builders, Inc. He is responsible for their
Raleigh Regional Office operations. He has been with Rodgers Builders, Inc. since 2013 and in
the Healthcare and Commercial Construction Business for over 30 years.

Todd was born and raised in Patrick County, VA and is a 1993 graduate of Virginia Tech with a
Bachelor of Architecture. Todd currently resides in Mooresville, NC with his wife Lisa and their
three boys: Owen, Ryan and Reed.

Todd was introduced to Roc Solid by Richard Childress prior to a playground build with a
NASCAR group in 2019. Since that build and the introduction to the mission of Roc Solid, he has
developed a passion for bringing people and companies together to support the organization
and witness how a playground build or packing a Ready Bag changes families’ and
individuals’ lives. He loves building playgrounds for families.

In his free time, he enjoys being at his sons’ sporting events, being on the lake with family and
friends, watching or attending a NASCAR race, or just hanging out in the backyard doing some
grilling and cornhole.

Chris Wilkerson

Chris Wilkerson is Vice President of Finance at Ethika. Under Chris’s financial leadership, Ethika has experienced rapid business expansion and improved financial oversight. Chris has over a decade of accounting and finance experience, having spent most of his career in private accounting in the apparel industry.

Chris started his accounting career assisting the Controller for a property management company that successfully grew and maintained multi-unit leasing properties during the 2008 recession. He then transitioned his career into public accounting as an auditor for Windes & McClaughry and successfully completed multiple engagements in various industries. Soon after, he landed at Ethika where he has been for 9 years.

Chris has led teams that were critical in the continual year over year growth for multiple companies in the apparel and tech industries. Outside of finance, Chris oversees human resources ranging from culture enhancement, training, recruiting, and employee benefits implementation.

Chris received his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California, a B.S. in Accountancy from California State University of Long Beach, and has successfully completed all portions of the CPA exam.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and finding new adventures to tackle with his wife. Chris is actively involved in philanthropic activities and various sports activities. His new adventure goal is to complete a full Iron Man triathlon.

Dustin Williams

Dustin currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for MacQueen Equipment Co. based out of St Paul MN. He has spent 20 years in operations in the industrial distribution industry working with and for several brands such as Cummins and Caterpillar. Dustin fully supports and believes in the mission of Roc Solid and the power of giving hope. While being thankful to serve on the board, he is most energized by the passion and effectiveness of the volunteers and staff. Play defeats cancer and providing opportunities for families on their journey is something he is grateful for. A native and current resident of Charlotte NC, he attempts to keep up with his family of five, wife Rhonda, and kids Emily, Annah, Emma and Mason. Dustin enjoys all things outdoors and especially enjoys a Roc Solid play-set build.

Ted Quinn

Ted’s grandson was diagnosed with pediatric cancer (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) in December of 2018 at the age of three. As a “grand” papa bear, Ted saw firsthand the Roc Solid Ready Bag delivery and its profound impact on his family. Since his grandson successfully completed his cancer treatment in June of 2022, this proud grandfather is ready to pay it forward through Roc Solid Foundation. Also, a cancer survivor himself, Ted wants to help achieve the shared goal of providing a Ready Bag to every child diagnosed with cancer in the country.

As of 2013, Ted took over ownership and operations and is the current President and CEO of Health Research of Hampton Roads, a clinical research facility in Newport News. He and his wife Rita reside in Hampton.

Ted loves being on the water and spending time with his family, including the two apples of his eye, grandson Cameron and granddaughter Madelyn.

Dave Woolwine

David F. Woolwine, Jr. is currently the President of the Paraclete Group a leadership coaching and organization development consulting company. Prior to this role, Dave was the Chief Learning Officer at Sentara Healthcare in Norfolk, Virginia, a Human Resources Director for Inova Health System in Northern Virginia, a Senior Consultant with the Ken Blanchard Companies and the Founder and President at CD & Associates of Virginia.

David received his Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Military Institute and his Masters of Education in Human Resource Development from George Washington University. David and his bride Cindy have three children and nine grandchildren.

His oldest grandson, Jackson, was the recipient of Roc Solid’s fourth playset build in 2010, and David can uniquely empathize with the families that are going through their cancer journeys. His favorite part is giving back to an organization that means so much his family.

As a kid, David loved to play football and baseball with his brothers and watch his sister ride horses.
