Warehouse Wednesday Volunteers

Are you looking for a fun way to volunteer and make a difference? Join us for Warehouse Wednesdays, which is held once a month at our warehouse in Chesapeake, VA. Support our mission by completing hands-on tasks like packing boxes, sorting playset hardware, organizing t-shirts, writing notecards to families… the list goes on. It is never the same, but always fun! Great for families, small volunteer groups or individuals looking to make a difference. We provide pizza and we’ll have a great time together! Check out our Warehouse Wednesday volunteer calendar and sign up today.

Fundraisers

Want to get your team involved on your own time or support Roc Solid from afar? Set up a Facebook fundraiser to benefit Roc Solid, or host a Ready Bag supply drive in your local community. These are great, impactful ways for individuals or small groups to get involved. Email us with any questions.

Hear from some of our Roc Solid Volunteers

“I would say for people that are looking to get involved just to go ahead and take that step and that leap forward. There are an endless amount of opportunities to get involved with Roc Solid to give back to these families, give back to this community and just become apart of something more than you alone.”

– Sam, Roc Solid Build Leader

“I’ve been volunteering my entire life, even as a child, and it’s all been great. But there’s something about Roc Solid that drew me in–hearing a Mama bear or Papa bear speak at a Ready Bag packing party and share with the group what the Ready Bag meant to them; the message that they are not alone and that there are people out there that care about them.”

– Janet, Ready Bag packing party volunteer

“I started volunteering at Warehouse on Wednesday and oh, what a wonderful start to a beautiful journey it has been. When I heard about what Roc Solid stood for and all the families they help and bring hope to during a challenging time in their lives, I had to be a part of it. I have since served at many Warehouse Wednesdays. Roc Solid is truly a blessing to our community and to families and kiddos fighting the fight and helping them find HOPE and JOY during a difficult time.”

– Michele, Roc Solid volunteer
